Home/Our Logo
At the top is our logo . . .
It represents a spring, water gushing out in the shape of a 'W'. Amazingly, beneath our building lies an active spring, which is the inspiration for our church's contribution to the annual Well dressing celebration held here in Wirksworth each year (for other well-dressings in Derbyshire, click here).
Also here is what physicists call a Venn diagram, a mixing of the three primary colours in a particular way. The colours represent the nature of our fellowship - each of us bringing different gifts to the whole and, when each one
is working with the others - together they form white light.....
And of course, as followers of Christ, we too see Light at our centre, in the same way that a candle at the centre of a meal-table gives a reference point and focus - to say nothing of the light
it shines that enables us to eat......and Live.
Light and water - two images that feed and inspire us on the journey.
