This is the name we give to our active Young Wellspringers.
That name has significance too :
1 Wellies/gum-boots/wellington boots (whatever you call them) can take you through the toughest and
roughest and wettest terrain. You need wellies to get through those tough bits in life.
2 Wellies usually have a good tread underneath their souls (soles) - and a step leaves footprints behind. It shows where you are going, leading others to follow you. And it shows whose footprints you're following...
